These Terms & Conditions apply to travel services offered by Lux Foreign Tours through luxforeigntours.com.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern access to luxforeigntours.com and the travel planning, reservation, and related services offered by Lux Foreign Tours. By using this website, submitting an inquiry, or confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.
If you make a booking on behalf of other travelers, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for every person included in the booking and that all traveler information supplied is complete and accurate.
2. Ownership
This website and its original content, branding, design, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Lux Foreign Tours and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Supplier names, trademarks, photographs, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the website or purchase of travel services.
3. Limitation on Use
You may use this website only for lawful, personal travel research and booking purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, interfere with, reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the website without prior written permission.
You must not submit false information, make speculative or fraudulent reservations, attempt unauthorized access, or use the website in a manner that may damage our systems, suppliers, partners, or other users.
4. Privacy
Personal information submitted through luxforeigntours.com is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements. Information may be shared with airlines, hotels, tour operators, payment providers, authorities, and other parties when reasonably necessary to process or support your travel arrangements.
You are responsible for obtaining permission before providing another traveler's personal information to us.
5. Online Booking & Purchase
An online inquiry, itinerary request, or payment submission does not by itself guarantee a reservation. A booking becomes confirmed only after we issue written confirmation and any required deposit or full payment has been received and accepted.
Before purchase, you must review traveler names, dates, destinations, inclusions, exclusions, room or fare conditions, and all supplier-specific terms. Errors reported after confirmation may result in change fees, cancellation charges, or the need to purchase a new service.
6. Travel Documentation
Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination records, insurance documents, and any other entry, transit, health, or immigration documentation required for the complete journey.
Lux Foreign Tours may provide general guidance but does not guarantee entry to any country or acceptance by an airline, authority, or supplier. Denied boarding, denied entry, fines, delays, and additional costs arising from incomplete or invalid documents remain the traveler's responsibility.
7. Pricing & Availability
All prices, itineraries, promotions, schedules, and inventory are subject to availability and may change before booking confirmation. Quoted prices may be affected by supplier updates, currency movements, taxes, fuel surcharges, government fees, seasonal pricing, or corrections to obvious errors.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices exclude passports, visas, insurance, personal expenses, gratuities, baggage charges, local taxes, and services not specifically listed as included.
8. Payments
Payment methods, currencies, due dates, deposit requirements, and installment terms will be stated in the applicable quotation or booking instructions. A reservation may be released or repriced if payment is not received by the stated deadline.
You are responsible for bank fees, card charges, currency conversion costs, and other transaction expenses imposed by your financial institution or payment provider. We may require additional identity or payment verification to reduce fraud and protect travelers.
9. Third-Party Suppliers
Lux Foreign Tours arranges many travel services as an intermediary for independent airlines, hotels, transport companies, guides, tour operators, attractions, insurers, and other suppliers. Each supplier operates under its own terms, conditions, schedules, and policies, which also apply to your booking.
We do not control a supplier's day-to-day operations and are not responsible for its acts, omissions, insolvency, service changes, or failure to perform, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Booking Changes
Requests to change traveler names, dates, routes, accommodation, or other booking details must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability and supplier approval. A change is not effective until we confirm it in writing.
Supplier penalties, fare differences, administrative fees, and other additional costs may apply. Some tickets, promotional rates, and reservations cannot be changed after confirmation.
11. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by the person who made the booking. The effective cancellation date is the date on which we receive and acknowledge the request during our normal business operations.
Cancellation charges depend on the booked services, notice period, supplier rules, and expenses already incurred. Certain deposits, tickets, peak-season bookings, special promotions, and prepaid services may be partially or entirely non-refundable.
12. Refunds
Refund eligibility is determined by the confirmed booking terms, our Refund Policy, and the rules of the relevant suppliers. Approved refunds will be processed after recoverable funds are received from suppliers and may be reduced by applicable cancellation, administrative, banking, or currency conversion charges.
Processing times vary by supplier and payment method. We cannot guarantee when a bank, card issuer, or payment provider will credit an approved amount to your account.
13. Force Majeure
Lux Foreign Tours is not liable for delay, alteration, interruption, or cancellation caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, labor disputes, border closures, government action, transport disruption, utility failure, or supplier insolvency.
Where possible, we will assist with reasonable alternatives, but any additional costs and supplier-imposed conditions remain subject to the applicable booking terms and available travel insurance coverage.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lux Foreign Tours is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, opportunity, income, data, or anticipated savings. Our aggregate liability relating to a booking will not exceed the amount paid directly to us for the affected service, except where a different limit is required by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or other protected statutory rights.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through written communication.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to the competent courts in the jurisdiction where the operating travel agency is registered, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
16. Modifications
Lux Foreign Tours may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in law, supplier practices, technology, or our services. The version published on luxforeigntours.com at the time of your booking will apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or agreed in writing.
Continued use of the website after revised terms are published constitutes acceptance of the updated website-use terms.
